T erri has been certified in group exercise and as a
personal trainer by the YMCA of America. During her career, she has taught a variety of classes including boot camp, spinning, kickboxing and body sculpting.
She is married and she feels it is important to be a good example in the areas of fitness and nutrition to her two young daughters. Terri gets involved at her daughters' school by conducting morning exercise videos and leading the fitness portion of the annual health fair.
Her advice for a healthy lifestyle is "there will always be some days when you don't fee like working out, but if you treat fitness as an appointment you make with yourself, you'll be less likely to skip. Take small steps...promise yourself that you are at least going to get dressed and put on your gym shoes. Once you do that, you'll find yourself more motivated to get outside or go to the gym.
After you make a regular routine of it, you'll hate to miss your daily exercise. The endorphins it produces are addicting!" |
