Why Balance ?

Good balance is your main safeguard against injury and falls. Preventing falls and fractures are an important reason to learn balance exercises.

Practicing balance will improve posture while preventing forward head and hunched-over shoulders. We will work to correct muscle imbalances and maintain the natural curves of the thoracic and cervical spine.

In the studio we will use balance disks, coreboard, stability balls, and BOSU balance trainers.

The BOSU balance trainer is a new way to exercise that is functional, dynamic and truly rewarding. The BOSU is safe and allows virtually anyone regardless of skill level, to effectively focus and train balance. On the other hand, the BOSU will challenge even the most gifted athletes and indefinitely allow them to continually improve balance skills. Stand on the BOSU and you will feel what it is like to exercise in the moment. Start exercising in the moment and you are one step closer to living in the moment. And living in the moment is what it is all about!!
