Colin. When I was seven years old, I began playing for the Marion County Parks and Recreation Leagues. Since then I have played for the Fairmont Soccer Club, NCU, and recently for West Virginia United. When I was twelve, our team won the West Virginia Title Cup. In other sports, I was a Fairmont Little League All-Star and have participated in basketball. I currently attend East Fairmont High School, in Fairmont, West Virginia, where I'm in my Senior year. My high school activities include involvement in Student Council, Freshman Basketball, Mu Alpha Theta, Social Science Honorary, English Honorary, National Honor Society, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I'm especially proud to have achieved becoming a starter and a Letterman during my four years on the Soccer Team at EFHS! And during my Junior and Senior years I had the opportunity to participate on the football team as the place kicker. I also strive to do well in my classes and am on the Honor Roll. My Academic achievements include a GPA of 3.9. I recently passed two Advanced Placement classes; English and Civics. On the ACT college entrance exam, I scored 29 in English, 30 in Reading, 31 in Science, and a 33 in Math; for a overall composite score of 31. Outside of school I am very active, too. In the summer I help teach soccer camps with the Valley Soccer Academy. And I am always vigorously training for the upcoming season. A few other FYIs . . . Inter Milan happens to be my favorite soccer team, and Kaka tops my list of players. My hobbies include bike riding, golfing, swimming, and fishing. I enjoy all types of music, and I think that the movie, the Guardian, is the best I've ever seen. In the near future, I look forward to playing soccer at the collegiate level, and studying for a career in sports medicine. |
